M6L-85, Magnetic Field Shielding Plate, 80cm x 55cm
The development of the new M6(L) series for shielding magnetic fields was a challenge:
It does not contain any problematic metals, is thin enough to be flexible and thick enough to shield well and can withstand bending without any loss of shielding.
It is suitable for both small areas in the home and large areas in construction, business or industry. In addition, there are many possible uses in cars, electric cars, delivery vans, mobile homes and caravans.
M6L-85 is a magnetic field shielding plate for shielding low-frequency magnetic fields, which is permanently protected from environmental influences on both sides with laminating film. This is why the M6L series can withstand a lot, for example on flat roofs or under floor structures. Single-layer processing has the best price/performance ratio; for higher magnetic flux densities, multiple layers must be used. For this product, 6 extremely thin shielding films were connected together because several thin layers provide better shielding than a thick sheet of metal.

- Ingredients and magnetic characteristics are not declared here for innovation reasons. The high-tech material has a high initial permeability and high saturation induction of 5Hz to 50kHz. In addition, static magnetic fields with 0Hz are shielded as well as electromagnetic fields up to 40GHz.

Processing
Caution: You can cut the M6L series with high-quality scissors!
The cut edges are as sharp as a knife and must be protected immediately after cutting with, for example, fabric adhesive tape!
Use cut-resistant gloves when processing! It is better to plan the installation of the panels so that you do not have to cut! For larger wall surfaces, make sure that the panels are a vapor barrier.
Processing with adhesive: Choose an adhesive that can stick the PET (polyethylene terephthalate) laminating film. There are high-viscosity assembly adhesives for solid surfaces, for example, or flexible plastic adhesives for bonding, for example, under car carpets. Follow the instructions of the adhesive manufacturer.
Processing with a stapler or nailer: If the surface is suitable, we recommend assembly with an electric stapler or nailer. For one layer including overlap, a medium-priced electric stapler is sufficient; for two or more layers, you will need a professional nailer. The shielding surface must overlap by at least 2cm.
Multi-layer installation: Always install the panels offset; the surfaces should cover the overlaps underneath.
Grounding
When shielding magnetic fields, also pay attention to the electric fields. To avoid the spread of electrical fields, grounding is necessary. The M6L series is fully laminated, but there is a solution for making contact: Glue the GSX10 or GSX50 grounding tape to all surfaces. Staple through the grounding tape with staples or nails.
