This device comes with the quasi-omnidirectional stub antenna and a directional horn antenna.

With this test receiver, Radar signals and 5G signals in the EHF/millimeter wave range from 20-40GHz can be detected and measured.

It is the perfect complement to the Safe and Sound Pro II- RF Meter (0.2-8GHz) and is the missing link to cover the entire 5G frequency range.

This instrument is professionally highly accurate and affordable - at a fraction of the cost of current high-band detectors.

The digital OLED display shows reading sin microwatts/m² or V/m, including audio, peak and average values with max. peak hold.

With this device you can detect and quantify the RF radiation present in your environment in the frequency range of 20-40GHz.

Some of the most common radiation sources that mmWave can detect are 5G cell towers, high-frequency Radar and other 5G high-band devices.

This sensitive receiver is capable of measuring potentially harmful millimeter wave radiation from any continuous or pulsed digital source. To identify the different sources, the mmWave has a built-in speaker with adjustable volume. Each millimeter wave radiation source has its own unique sound signature.

The sensitive instrument has four "traffic light" LEDs for evaluating the received signal strength according to the building biology standard SBM 2015.

5G Radiation Sources

As the 5G mobile network continues to expand, our exposure to RF radiation is also increasing. It is becoming increasingly common for individuals to experience a range of negative heath effects associated with EMF and RF exposure.

WAs always, detection is the first step in protecting yourself from these potentially negative health effects. There is currently a lot of discussion about the frequency bands use in this network, and with this range of measuring devices we would like to help keep you informed and protected.

The biological damage caused by microwave radiation at the cellular level is well below current government safety standards. These only consider the heating of tissue to be a health risk. This measuring device complies with the latest scientific and building biology standards. However, numerous studies suggest that RF radiation can have an impact on the human body even under current legal regulations.

Attention: In fact it is e.g. currently so that often no signal is displayed. This is not because the devices are defective, but rather because there is currently little to measure in the 5G Frequenzy band FR2 outside of large cities, ports or airports.

Antenna

The mmWave comes with a suitable stub antenna for the frequency range 20-40GHz with a semi-.omnidirectional pattern (50° forward and 50° backwords).

The horn antenna which is also included, can also be connected. The horn antenna with a directional reception pattern (35° forward) allows you to target the signal sources.
