Thermapen NANO, Food Seconds Thermometer
Thermapen NANO is ETI's latest and fastest Thermapen, designed for rapid, accurate temperature measurement in professional kitchens, catering and foodservice environments.
Optimise your commercial kitchen's efficiency and food safety compliance with the Thermapen NANO, the advanced digital food thermometer engineered for professional catering and rigorous foodservice environments.
Manufactured in the UK and complete with a traceable calibration certificate, this high-performance instrument utilises ThermaBoost technology to deliver rapid 0.4-second temperature readings with a ±0.3°C accuracy.
Built for the demands of a busy professional kitchen, the NANO features a smart auto-rotating backlit display that adapts to any orientation, while a motion-sensing sleep/wake mode ensures maximum battery efficiency during service.
Designed with a magnetic backing for practical stainless-steel surface storage and supported by a robust 5-year guarantee, the Thermapen NANO is the essential, reliable tool for consistent quality control and precise temperature management in any commercial culinary setting.
What 0.4 seconds really looks like
Thermapen NANO delivers a final temperature in just 0.4 seconds - more than twice as fast as its predecessor model Thermapen ONE. Faster readings mean quicker checks, less time over the heat and faster decisions when every second counts.
Patent-pending ThermaBoost® Technology detects a major temperature change and automatically increases the sampling rate from 5 to 20 times per second. Once the reading stabilises, it returns to 5 times per second to help preserve battery life.
300% Brighter display
A backlight that's 300% brighter than Thermapen ONE makes temperatures clear and easy to read, even in low light. The display automatically rotates to stay the right way up, whichever hand you're using.

How does the Thermapen NANO read so fast?
Thermapen NANO uses patent-pending ThermaBoost® Technology. When the probe detects a significant temperature change, it increases its sampling rate from 5 to 20 times per second to reach the final temperature faster.
For example, if your NANO is reading room temperature at 20°C and you probe a steak cooking at 55°C, ThermaBoost detects the change and increases the sampling rate to reach the final temperature in just 0.4 seconds. As the temperature stabilises, it slows the sampling rate back down to conserve battery life.
Why do I need a fast thermometer?
When temperature is critical, every second counts. Faster readings mean you can quickly check your food and make a decision without waiting over the heat.
It’s particularly useful when cooking lots of food at once. If you have a BBQ full of burgers, chicken pieces and sausages, you can quickly check each one to make sure everything has reached the right temperature without slowing down service or leaving food over the heat for longer than necessary.
What can I use a Thermapen NANO for?
Thermapen NANO measures temperatures from -49.9 to 299.9°C, making it ideal for everything from meat and BBQ to baking, confectionery and deep frying.
Use it for steaks, roast meats, chicken, burgers, bread, cakes, jam, caramel, frying oil and more.
